Privacy Policy

Updated 19 October 2026. This notice describes the information the checkout and messages on this shop actually ask for. The operating business has to confirm retention, and which law it relies on, before this is treated as its finished privacy policy. This page does not decide that the business is a data fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

This notice applies to this website, to an order placed on it, and to a message sent about that order.

2. Information the shop collects

  • Name, email address, phone number, and delivery address, when you check out or write to the shop
  • The items, shades, pack sizes, amount, and order number
  • Whether a UPI order is waiting for a person to match a bank credit, or the order is cash on delivery. The shop does not ask you to type a UPI PIN, card number, CVV, or OTP into this website
  • Messages you send, and the shop's replies
  • Technical data recorded in the ordinary course of running the site, such as an IP address and the cookies named below

The shop does not ask for a government identity number, biometric data, or health information. Do not send those. A question about a cosmetic is not a request for a medical history. This version does not use an advertising or analytics cookie, and it does not send card data to a payment gateway.

3. Why it is used

  • To record the order, match a UPI bank credit, or record a cash-on-delivery fee
  • To deliver the order if the shop dispatches it
  • To answer a question or a complaint
  • To keep an account, a cart, and a checkout working

The shop does not sell personal information. This version has no mailing list, so there is no marketing email to unsubscribe from. A message about an order you have placed is part of that order.

4. Who receives it

The operating business, and the people who run this website for it. A courier receives the name, address, and phone number only if the shop dispatches the order. The couriers are Delhivery, Blue Dart, Xpressbees, and India Post. A demand from an authority is handled if one arrives. This page does not describe a standing disclosure.

5. How long information is kept

No retention period is published. Tax or accounting rules may require order records to be kept once the operating business confirms that duty. An eight-year period is not this shop's rule.

6. Asking about your information

You can ask what the shop holds, ask for a correction, or ask it to delete information it no longer needs for the order. Write to care@makeupshine.net, or to the office address, and use the phone number or email address on the order so the shop can match the request.

The grievance officer acknowledges a complaint within 24 hours and resolves it within 15 days. A separate data-protection officer is not named. If a reply does not come, use Grievance Redressal. The grievance officer is MANMOHAN, at grievance@makeupshine.net.

7. Security

Production is expected to use HTTPS. Account passwords are stored by the shop software as hashes, not as readable text. The shop cannot promise that information will never be exposed. Who must be told about a breach, and by when, has to be confirmed against the law that applies. This page does not adopt a notification timetable.

8. Cookies

The shop uses cookies that the store software needs for the cart, the checkout, and a signed-in session. If those cookies are blocked, the cart and checkout will not work. The cart is not stored only in the browser.

9. Children

The person who checks out places the order. The shop does not knowingly ask a child to open an account. If a child's information was sent by mistake, write to the shop and say so.

10. Changes

This notice is dated 19 October 2026. A later published version replaces it. An order already placed stays under the notice that was on the site when the order was placed.

11. Law

This notice is intended to be read under the laws of India. The office is in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The operating business has not confirmed which court would hear a dispute. The office city is not, by itself, that choice.
